A wedding isn't just the two of you. It's your families colliding, your best friends ugly crying in the front row, a florist who arrived early and a caterer who arrived late, and somewhere in the middle of all of it, the moment you've been looking forward to your whole life. Our job is to be inside all of it. Not hovering at the edge waiting for the posed shots. Actually in it so that when something real happens, we're already there.
Weddings are loud, full, and fast. There are toasts that go long and dances that go longer. There's the quiet moment between you and your dad before you walk in, and the look on your partner's face when they see you for the first time, and the thing your maid of honor said that made everyone lose it. There are a hundred things happening at once, and most of them happen once.
We don't miss them.
Not because we're fast (though we are) but because we've done the work before you ever arrived. We know your venue, your timeline, your people. We know where the light is going to be at 4pm and where the family formals are happening and which moments are going to need us close. So when the day changes (and most do) we are there and ready to adapt.

02 We do a venue walkthrough.
Before the day, we visit or research your venue — where the light lands, when it lands, which moments happen where. No surprises on the day itself.
03 We build your timeline.
We think through everything from getting ready and first look, to ceremony time, golden hour, cocktail hour, and family formals. Everything will be timed out from the time you arrive until the time you make your grand exit. You will have a real timeline designed around the light, your vendors, and how you actually want to experience your day.
04 We coordinate with your other vendors.
We touch base with your planner, your florist, your DJ. We make sure everyone knows the timeline and everyone's on the same page, so you don't have to be the one managing it.
05 You arrive. We take it from here.

06 You leave with something tangible.
We believe in having something to remember your night by the very next morning, which is why we gift you with a parting surprise day off and send you sneak peeks within 72 hours. Your full gallery will follow within 8 weeks.

Things couples are asking about weddings
Do we need a second photographer?

Not always. Jillian covers most days under about 120 guests on her own. Add a second photographer for 6 hours ($750) if you’re getting ready in two places at once, have a big family for formals, or want cocktail hour covered while you’re off for portraits. The Legacy and The Heirloom Weekend include one from getting ready through the toasts.
How many photos will we receive?

The amount of time of coverage you book will determine how many photos you receive, however, you can expect 50-70 photos per hour of coverage with a mix of digital and film, organized in a clear gallery. Within 72 hours you can expect to receive 10-20 sneak peeks. Your full gallery including film and digital images will be delivered within 8 weeks.
Can you cover multiple events across our wedding weekend?

Yes. The Heirloom Weekend covers 16 hours across your whole weekend at one price, with a second photographer on the wedding day and nothing billed on top. Any collection can also add rehearsal dinner coverage ($800 for 2 hours) or a second day (from $1,800). Tell us what your weekend looks like and we’ll build a coverage plan that makes sense for it.
Do you travel outside of Colorado?

Yes. Travel and lodging anywhere in Colorado are always included, and The Heirloom Weekend adds the bordering states. For destinations further out (the Pacific Northwest, internationally), reach out for a travel quote; travel is billed at cost, never marked up. We love to travel!
How far in advance should we book?

For summer and fall Colorado weddings, 10–16 months is ideal. July, August, and September dates fill fastest. We take a limited number of weddings each year so that we can give the attention to our couples that they deserve.
Both! I shoot film and digital side by side all day, and every collection includes 35mm film. Digital keeps up with the fast, busy moments, and film gets the ones you'll want to hold onto, with soft color and real grain. Your film scans land in your gallery right alongside your digitals.
