Film + Digital Colorado Wedding Photography

Your Wedding.
The Full Story.

From the getting-ready morning to the last song. Jillian and Ethan as a duo, film woven throughout, photographs that look timeless instead of dated.

Your wedding day has a lot of pieces.

We make sure none of them get lost.

A wedding isn't just the two of you. It's your families colliding, your best friends ugly crying in the front row, a florist who arrived early and a caterer who arrived late, and somewhere in the middle of all of it, the moment you've been looking forward to your whole life. Our job is to be inside all of it. Not hovering at the edge waiting for the posed shots. Actually in it so that when something real happens, we're already there.

A smiling bride and groom close together outdoors, with a blurred background of trees, dressed in wedding attire.
A happy couple at a wedding, with the woman smiling and holding the man, who is wearing glasses and a blue suit, outdoors with a blurred natural background.
Three people, a man, a woman, and a young woman, are happily hugging outdoors. The man and woman are older and the young woman has dark hair. They are smiling and appear joyful. The woman holds a bouquet of flowers.
A bride and groom looking at each other, smiling, with their noses almost touching. The bride is holding the groom's face with her hand and wearing a wedding dress, veil, and pearls. The groom is dressed in a navy suit and glasses.

Weddings are loud, full, and fast. There are toasts that go long and dances that go longer. There's the quiet moment between you and your dad before you walk in, and the look on your partner's face when they see you for the first time, and the thing your maid of honor said that made everyone lose it. There are a hundred things happening at once, and most of them happen once.

We don't miss them.

Not because we're fast (though we are) but because we've done the work before you ever arrived. We know your venue, your timeline, your people. We know where the light is going to be at 4pm and where the family formals are happening and which moments are going to need us close. So when the day changes (and most do) we are there and ready to adapt.

A love note from Christy + Will

“Jillian is more than an excellent photographer. She's got a real eye for the details you didn't even notice, and she has a wonderful way of helping you relax and show yourself in every image.

We hired her for our engagement photos as well as our wedding photography, and i'm so glad we did. During the engagement shoot, she discussed and demonstrated various poses as well as relaxed us enough for some really cute spontaneous images. It was a great way to practice things and get to know each other, as well as talk about what we wanted and liked. On the big day, she was able to capture some truly magical shots far beyond what we expected; laughter amongst our guests, silly candid moments, intimate glances, stunning venue details, every little thing you want to remember.

We just celebrated 8 years of marriage this November, so I can only imagine her skills have improved even more since then. If you hire her, you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Jillian, from the bottom of our hearts.”

From first inquiry to last frame.

01 You reach out. We listen.

Tell us the venue, the guest list, the vibe. Tell us if you want moody and editorial or warm and candid. Tell us what your mom is going to cry about. We'll take notes.

02 We do a venue walkthrough.

Before the day, we visit or research your venue — where the light lands, when it lands, which moments happen where. No surprises on the day itself.

03 We build your timeline.

We think through everything from getting ready and first look, to ceremony time, golden hour, cocktail hour, and family formals. Everything will be timed out from the time you arrive until the time you make your grand exit. You will have a real timeline designed around the light, your vendors, and how you actually want to experience your day.

04 We coordinate with your other vendors.

We touch base with your planner, your florist, your DJ. We make sure everyone knows the timeline and everyone's on the same page, so you don't have to be the one managing it.

05 You arrive. We take it from here.

You focus on the people in front of you. We focus on everything else.

06 You leave with something tangible.

We believe in having something to remember your night by the very next morning, which is why we gift you with a parting surprise day off and send you sneak peeks within 24 hours. Your full gallery will follow within 6–8 weeks.

Things couples are asking about weddings

Do we really need a second shooter?

1

It depends on your wedding, but here's the honest case for it. Your ceremony lasts roughly 30 minutes. During those 30 minutes: your vows are happening at the same time as your guests' reactions. Your partner's face as you walk down the aisle is happening at the same time as yours. A single photographer has to choose what to miss. With both of us working together, nothing is a choice, we capture both angles simultaneously. A second shooter isn't a luxury, it's the difference between a complete story and an edited one.

How many photos will we receive?

2

The amount of time of coverage you book will determine how many photos you receive, however, you can expect 50-70 photos per hour of coverage with a mix of digital and film, organized in a clear gallery. Within 24 hours you can expect to receive your family formals and 5-10 sneak peeks. Your fully gallery including film and digital images will be delivered within 6-8 weeks.

Can you cover multiple events across our wedding weekend?

3

Yes, we build out packages that capture the entire story of your wedding weekend, not just the wedding day. We can add on anything from the rehearsal dinner and welcome party to the farewell brunch and post-wedding adventure session. Tell us what your weekend looks like and we'll build a coverage plan that makes sense for it.

Do you travel outside of Colorado?

4

Yes. Colorado travel is always included. For destinations outside Colorado — Utah, Wyoming, the Pacific Northwest, internationally — reach out with your destination for a custom travel quote. We love to travel!

How far in advance should we book?

5

For summer and fall Colorado weddings, 10–16 months is ideal. July, August, and September dates fill fastest. We take a limited number of weddings each year so that we can give the attention to our couples that they deserve.

A love note from Sarah + Zach

“Jillian brings an exceptional eye + technical proficiency in her photography. I felt extremely comfortable behind her lens and really appreciated all the planning & detailed itinerary for our location. She's the kinda person you can trust to set real expectations + you know, keep you alive on the mountain. (such a perk!).

What I really love about her photos is her unique approach to each person & her commitment to finding the best light. Everything is really easy flow & organic with the way she works with a healthy amount of silly- she makes it fun!

I've had the privilege of seeing her work unfold + grow throughout the years, and it just feels like she's hit a high bar of consistency at capturing beautiful nuances. I've seen her drop, squat and roll to capture something essential at the speed of light so it didn't go unmissed at an event. That's the ticket there- is she's got your back (and best angles) no matter what.”

Your wedding belongs on film.

Tell us your date and what matters most. We'll take it from there.
