FAQs
-
Definitely. If you have a unique idea, need more time, want to travel further, or want to create an experience that’s completely unique to you, let’s chat about it!
-
We don’t limit the number of photos you receive, but a safe range is 60–90 images per hour as determined by hiking time, locations, and ceremony plans.
-
Photos: no—your gallery is fully edited and ready to print/share.
Video: yes—with the content creation add-on you receive RAW files within 24 hours, plus 5 edited verticals + a 60s highlight within 72 hours.
-
Yes—we provide an location guidance, identify permit needs, handle the admin, and plan the day accounting for timing of light, crowds, and weather.
-
Elopements are designed for intimate groups and some locations have specific caps. The Metro package is capped at less than 10. However, our other packages comfortably handle small gatherings. If guest count is trending toward a traditional wedding, we’ll steer you to our Wedding collections.
-
Absolutely. We’re just as at home on a trail as we are at a venue. We’ll help you match trails to your needs and ability levels. We also come prepared with basic first-aid and snacks, and build in buffer for weather and wind.
-
We watch forecasts and build out a list of back up locations. If conditions are unsafe (lightning/high winds/blizzard), we include one complimentary reschedule based on mutual availability. That being said, light drizzle/snow often photographs beautifully!
-
100%. We’ll confirm pet rules for chosen locations. Please bring a friend/handler to help out, a leash, waste bags, and some treats.
-
Nope. In Colorado you can self-solemnize—meaning you marry yourselves. No officiant, no witnesses required. You’ll still need to:
Pick up a marriage license from any Colorado county clerk (it’s typically valid for ~35 days).
Sign it yourselves on your elopement day.
Return it to the clerk (usually within 63 days) per the instructions on the license.
If you want an officiant (for readings, a religious element, or just the vibe), bring one—or we can recommend pros. Note that even with self-solemnization, a friend or family member can lead the ceremony while you handle the legal signatures.
-
Yes—when it’s safe and legal. Ethan is FAA Part 107 licensed. We fly only if:
The venue and airspace allow it (some areas are restricted; National Parks ban drones).
Weather is safe (no heavy wind/rain/snow), and we can fly away from crowds/ceremony.
Any required permits/insurance are in place (we’ll handle paperwork; fees pass through).
Tell us early if drone shots are a must so we can confirm feasibility for your location and date.
-
Yes. Weekdays are actually better for elopements—fewer crowds, easier parking, more privacy, and permits are often simpler. Share your dates and we’ll confirm availability and any required permits.
-
A 30% retainer secures your date. The remaining balance is typically due 30 days before the wedding. If you’d like to break it up more, we can do installments—just let us know!
